We have identified that some are still having issues with the MyKarting Portal but don’t fear as KNSW is here.

If you’re one of those affected, please be at the Canberra kart track between 5pm and 7pm tomorrow (Friday 8th February) and we’ll have staff onsite to assist you in getting licencing sorted out for this weekend.

If you haven’t nominated yet for the first round don’t despair.  Just get your kart ready, head to Canberra tomorrow and we will get you sorted out so you can race on the weekend.

The new Maxxis dry tyre has already proven to be a big hit.  Affordable, durable and fun to drive on.  The Maxxis Sport and Dunlop KT12-SLW2 Wet are available at all good kart shops.

With our new simplified rules and common-sense approach, this is going to be racing at it’s best.

Canberra’s Circuit Mark Webber will host this fantastic series on the 9th & 10th February 2019 and we expect huge entry numbers. 

Karting NSW is now taking nominations for the first round via its new online system, MyKarting™ Portal.  This can be accessed via the website www.kartingnsw.com.au or via our app.  Search Karting New South Wales in the app store to download.

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to login using the details provided and reset your password and upload a photo.  Once you’ve done that, you can enter this event via the events menu.

If you haven’t purchased a KNSW 2019 licence yet, you can also do this via the same system then nominates for this event.

If you encounter any issues the office staff can walk you through the process from Tuesday morning.

ACT Government's Minister Mick Gentleman Turns the first Sod at Canberra Kart Track in front of competitors and media today.

CKRC Track Extension Committee Member, James Ordish, said "The turning of the first sod marks the official commencement of the works at Circuit Mark Webber. CKRC would like to thank all the members and media who turned up to witness this mementos event."

"We would also like to thank the ACT Government's Minister Mick Gentleman and D Group's Dino Jugovac for all their support and helping make the Track Extension a reality."

The track will remain open as works continue on the adjacent block. Stay tuned to CKRC for future developments and updates.

Karting NSW would like to congratulate Bathurst Kart Club, Bathurst Regional Council and all bodies that contributed to the success of the DA for an International kart track to be built on top of Mount Panorama.
 
Bathurst Kart Club President Mark Dunbar would like to thank all who contributed their time, effort and expertise to get this project underway. He understands that there's a long road ahead, but with the support of karters and appropriate bodies this project should be up and running in the near future.
 
Bathurst Kart Club will keep everybody updated with the progress of the track.

The Grenfell Kart Club’s recent Kart Clinic was a huge success. Cadet, Junior and Senior Karters all keen to hone their skills both on and off the track attended the Saturday Clinic and Sunday’s race meeting.

Matt Mclean and Joe Tighe conducted the Clinic, passing on their wealth of karting knowledge, and years of karting experience.

All 20 attendees were overwhelmed by the improvements they made over the weekend under the guidance of Matt and Joe.

The Grenfell Kart Club and all of the participants would like to thank Matt and Joe for spending the entire weekend at the Grenfell Track, even after racing had finished on Sunday they both remained to further assist any karters keen to learn more.

A special thanks to Wal from Riverina Karts and Parts for his efforts putting the weekend together.
